Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes
on operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is
handed over to a third party!
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags
may become a deadly toy for children.
If the device or the temperature sensor are damaged, the device
must not be used any longer. Have it repaired by a specialist.
Measuring equipment and accessories are not toys and should
not be operated by children!
Please note that the enclosed sensor must not be heated above
250 °C (short-term 300 °C / for 1 second)!
If the device is moved from a cold to a warm environment, a
formation of condensation can lead to malfunctioning. In such a
case, wait for a short time until the device has reached room
temperature.
Allow the temperature sensor to cool down completely before
cleaning it or storing it.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the
battery. Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and
do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt, high
temperature, strong light, vibrations or strong magnetic fields.
Do not dismantle the device and do not attempt to repair it. The
device does not contain any parts which can be replaced or re-
paired by you.
