Operating
The terrycloth pad can be used to apply either polish or abrasive.
The buffing pad can then be used to polish the surface.
Always make sure that there are no dirt particles in the fabric
before starting your work. Dirt particles can cause scratches on
the surface being polished.
Hints for Car Paint Care
Paint Cleaner (contains abrasive ingredients)
A lacquer cleaner should only be used for very weathered paint
surfaces, as they contain “coarse” abrasive particles.
Polish (contains abrasive ingredients)
Many different kinds of polish are available on the market, e.g. for
freshly painted surfaces, for matt finish and “weathered” paint,
combination products with hard wax (for protection) are all
available.
None of these products should be used too frequently as they
contain abrasive particles, which remove parts of the existing
lacquer layer with each use.
The top paint layer of modern cars is only about 0.04 – 0.06 mm
thick.
Always work on individual sections when polishing. The best
results are obtained when the polish is first applied to an area of
about 1m

using the terrycloth pad, is then left to settle in for a
little while and finally is polished using the buffing pad.
Cleaning and Storing the Polisher
Use only a moist cloth to clean the housing of the polisher.
Do not immerse the polisher in water.
Do not use aggressive chemicals as benzene or thinner,
which may dissolve plastic parts, or abrasives.
