Operation
Intended Use
The multi-function grinder and sharpener is designed for dry grinding only.
The grinder/sharpener is designed for sharpening of HSS drill bits, knives
and scissors with straight blades, plane blades and chisels.
This machine is a grinder/sharpener and it is not designed for work that
would normally be done with a bench grinder.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
Any further use (different media, applying force) or unauthorised changes
(reconstruction, no original accessories) can lead to danger and are meant
to be not in accordance with regulations.
Before first Use
Take all parts of the multi grinder/sharpener out of the packaging. Keep
packaging materials away from children. There is a risk of suffocation! Check
the grinder/sharpener for damage in transit. Do not use the machine if it is
damaged.
Mounting/Changing the Attachments
Before mounting or removing the attachment,
pull the power plug from the wall socket.
For inserting the included attachments
into the motor unit, hold the motor unit
firmly in one hand and insert the desired
attachment in an 90° angle (as shown in
the pictures on the right) into the provided
opening.
Hold the motor unit firmly and turn the
attachment counter clockwise (down-
wards). Now the attachment and the
motor unit are firmly locked.
For unlocking the parts and removing the
attachment, hold the motor unit firmly in
one hand and turn the attachment
clockwise (upwards). Now you can
remove the attachment from the motor
unit.
