Ratchet Hose Clamp Pliers Set

Area of Application
Installing and removing reusable clip type hose clamps on fuel and heater
lines, water hoses, boots on axles and steering gear used by many car
manufacturers (e. g. Audi, VW, Skoda, Porsche, Fiat, Renault, Alfa
Romeo, BMW, etc.).
For CLIC and CLIC-R type hose clamps and several types of clip type
hose clamps up to wire strength of 4 mm and hose diameters of up to
Ø 12 mm.
Mode of Function
Due to the ratchet function the hose clamps remain spread open until the
mechanism is released.
Operation
1. Open the ratchet hose clamp pliers fully by pressing down the lever
and holding it. Set the lever on the first tooth and release it.
2. Place the applicable jaw inserts into the
openings in the jaws and close the pliers. The
jaw inserts snap into the openings.
3. Release and reset the hose clamps with the
ratchet function. With the ratchet function the
pliers can be used for different opening angles.
4. To remove the jaw inserts open the pliers fully
and pull the jaws from the openings in the arms.
