Using
Before first Use
Clean all parts of the appliance before using the first time as described below
under “Cleaning”.
Assembling the appliance
1.
Place the appliance steadily on a solid, level surface.

Fist put the juice container (3) on the motor unit (1). Then put the sieve (6) on
the juice container and finally place the cone (7a) on the sieve. For squeez-
ing small fruits such as lemons, limes, mandarins etc. use the small cone
(7a) and for big fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits etc. place the large cone
(7b) onto the small cone.

Cut the fruit into two equal halves.
4.
Insert the plug of the power cord into the mains socket.
5.
Place a suitable glass under the spout (4) and press the spout downwards,
so the fruit juice can run into the glass.

Place one of the halves of the fruit over the cone. The juicer cone will start to
rotate automatically when a slight downward pressure is applied. As soon as
pressure is reduced, the spindle will rotate in opposite direction in order to
squeeze the fruit effectively.
7.
If you do not wish to pour the juice into the glass straight away, lift up the
spout (4). Now the juice will be collected into the juice container (3).
Hint: Do not keep citrus fruit juice in the juice container.
