Using
Measuring Tyre Profile
1. Use the slider (3) to slide the
depth ruler for tyre profile
measurements (4) to the maxi-
mum length of the housing.
2. Now place the extended depth
ruler onto the vehicle tyre. The
depth ruler must be inserted
into the groove of the tyre pro-
file.
3. Read the profile depth on the
scale of the depth ruler.
Cleaning and Storing
 Only use a soft, lit free cloth to clean the unit. Do not
use aggressive chemicals or abrasives and do not use
liquids.
 Thoroughly dry the unit after cleaning and make sure
that no liquids enter the housing.
 If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove
the battery.
 Store the unit indoors in a place that is protected from
humidity, dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
 Store the unit out of reach of children.
