Correct Grinding
The point angle is set by choosing the fixed grinding
angle and swivel range. Please observe that the point
angle has to differ depending on the material to be pro-
cessed. Examples (guide values):
Aluminium: 130 – 140°,
Copper, brass: 120 – 130°,
Steel, cast iron: 110 – 120°,
Plastics: 50 – 90°.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
After every use, carefully clean the sharpener and
safely remove the swarf.
For cleaning, use only a dry cloth, no cleaners contain-
ing organic solvents or alcohol.
Do not immerse the device into water and do not ex-
pose it to humidity!
Keep the device, and particularly the adjustment
screws, free from oil and grease.
Replace a damaged grinding disc immediately – other-
wise there is a serious danger of injury.
