1. To open the battery compartment lid (4), push the lid from the
housing.
2. Insert two batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into the battery
compartment, observing right polarity. Preferably use alkaline
batteries for operating the unit.
3. To turn on the unit, move the ON/OFF slide switch (2) forth in
direction
ON
. To turn off, slide the switch back in direction
OFF
.
4. Move the clothes shaver gently over the
clothing you want to clean. Lightly stretch the
textile. Do not press the blade protector cap
too hard on the textile in order not to damage
the fabrics and the blade protector cap.
5. While operating, fluff will fall into the
transparent fluff container (5). To open the
container hold the unit by the handle and pull down the fluff
container downwards. After each use, clean the blade head (6)
and the shaving foil cap from the inside. For cleaning, preferably
use a brush with fine bristles.
6. Open the blade protector cap by turning counter clockwise.
Remove fluff and retighten the cap.
The unit is not intended for continuous operation. Do not
overload the unit in order not to overheat resp. not to damage
the motor. Allow the motor to cool down sufficiently.
Frequently clean the fluff container to achieve best result. Take
the batteries out of the unit if you do not use it for a long period
of time.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
