Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Keep the device out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance. Use
the ceramic kettle only as described in this manual and only for boiling water.
Never immerse the kettle and the base in water or any other liquids.
Please switch off the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning or when not in use.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get
caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it. Do not allow the power cord to ride over sharp edges or corners or
close to hot surfaces.
Always place the device on an even surface during use. Do not place the
device in the sink or on inclined surfaces.
Do not use the appliance outdoors, or near gas flames, oven plates or other
heated elements.
Use the ceramic kettle only with the included base and use the base only with
this kettle.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or countertop.
Do not overfill the device. The “MAX” mark on the water level indicator
indicates the maximum fill level. To avoid the appliance from switching off due
to overheating, always fill the water container with at least 0.5 litres of water.
Skin contact with boiling water can result in severe burns. Please take
extreme care when pouring off boiling water. High temperature steam may
escape from around the lid during heating process. Do not touch any hot
parts of the appliance while it is in operation.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes. The appliance is not designed
for continuous, professional use.
Should the appliance become damaged, do not use it and have it repaired by
a professional. Do not disassemble the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
