bursting steam. If necessary use a soft brush.
Cleaning and Storing
1. Hold the iron horizontally and turn the steam controller to the symbol
in
order to unlock the controller. Remove the steam controller. Continuous
steam comes out of the vents. This will clean the steam system.
2. Turn the temperature control dial to MAX and press the steam burst button
several times to evaporate remaining water from the steam system.
3. Insert the steam controller into the opening and turn it clockwise to lock.
4. Pull the power plug and drain remaining water from the iron by pulling out the
plug (5) and by turning the iron upside down.
5. Let the iron cool down completely before storing.
6. Use only a lightly moistened cloth to clean the housing. Do not use metal or
sharp items to clean the unit, because these may damage the surfaces. Do
not use aggressive chemicals.
Decalcify the iron from time to time. Do not use vinegar, but rather a customary
decalcifying agent based on citric acid. Follow the instructions from the
manufacturer of the decalcifying agent.
Hint: If you want to leave water in the water tank, turn the steam controller to the
symbol
(without steam), so water cannot drop out of the vents.
