Safety Notes
•
When towing vehicles; follow the traffic rules and other relevant regulations,
which apply in the country you are in.
•
Do not exceed the maximum load of 2000 kg.
•
Do not use the towing rope is it is damaged in any way.
•
Use only the towing eyes intended for this purpose to attach the tow rope.
When in doubt, consult the owner manual of the vehicle to find out where the
towing eyes are located.
•
Make sure the towing eyes on both vehicles are sound and in good condition.
•
When towing a vehicle with an automatic transmission, please consult the
owner manual of the vehicle beforehand.
•
Please keep in mind that acceleration and deceleration should be approached
in a sensible manner during towing and that towing should only take place at
moderate speed.
•
Keep the tow rope clear of sharp edges of any kind.
•
When towing, keep people out of the danger zone.
•
Do not expose the towing rope to sunlight or moisture for extended amounts of
time.
•
Do not expose the towing rope to aggressive chemicals or solvents.
•
Do not use the towing rope in temperatures under -20°C and over +50°C.
•
Do not use the tow rope for lifting loads or persons or for any other purpose
than towing.
