Using
Please note, after inserting the eggs into the breeding machine, the tempera-
ture will drop down. This is no cause for concern, because when opening the
breeding machine, the heat will escape. Furthermore, the temperature of the
eggs is lower than the adjusted temperature of the breeding machine. Do not
re-adjust the temperature! It will take some hours, until the eggs will adopt the
adjusted temperature of the breeding machine. After this time the display will
show the adjusted temperature again.
9. At the beginning of the breeding process, after inserting the eggs into the
breeding machine and if possible, check the temperature and the humidity
every two hours. Fluctuations in temperature depend on the ambient tem-
perature, the number of hatching eggs and humidity. Fluctuations of +/- 2°C
are not a problem. This fact does not cause negative effects to the breeding
process. Do not open the lid needlessly.
Readjust fluctuations in temperature of more than 1°C after 12 hours by
pressing the function buttons

10. Ventilate the breeding machine at least twice a day by opening the lid for
some minutes. Please note the more eggs are placed in the breeding
machine, the more frequently the breeding machine has to be ventilated.
Alarm Function
Please note, the humidity in the breeding machine is just monitored, not
controlled.
If the displayed humidity value inside the breeding machine is below the adjusted
valued for more than 30 minutes, you will hear a single beep sound. Press the
button MODE, in order to switch off the beep sound for short time. If the humidity
is still below the adjusted value after 30 minutes again, you will hear the single
beep sound once more.
If the displayed humidity value inside the breeding machine is below the adjusted
value for more than 60 minutes, you will hear a double beep sound. Press the
button MODE, in order to switch off the beep sound for short time. If the humidity
is still below the adjusted value after 60 minutes again, you will hear the double
beep sound once more.
Candling
To optimize hatching and detect possible malformed eggs, you
can candle the eggs after the 6
th
– 10
th
day. For better hatching,
sort out unfertile eggs after the 7
th
– 10
th
day, as unfertile eggs
might have a negative effect.
