Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Observing the local manufacturing specifications, electrical connection work
should only be carried out by an electrician.
The remote control is not a toy. Keep the remote control out of reach of small
children and persons in need of supervision as there are small and fragile
parts.
Only use suitable batteries prescribed in this manual and remove the battery
from the remote control, if you do not intend to use it for a long period of time.
Use the remote control only in dry interior locations. The remote switch is
approved for outdoor use.
Do not expose the remote control to strong mechanical stress or vibrations.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to
recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
These units operate in a frequency band also used by many other wireless
applications. For this reason, do not use the unit for operating e.g. power
tools, domestic appliances or other devices that may become a source of
danger while they are unintentionally switched on.
Do not disassemble the units; they do not contain parts serviceable by you. A
modification is not permitted; this would void the operating license for the
units. In case of malfunction, contact our customer support department.
Do not overload the remote switch. Overloading may destroy the remote
switch or cause damages, i.e. fire. The maximum connected power rating
must not exceed 1000 W.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
For battery disposal, please check with your
local council.
