Waffles from Münsterland
Ingredients:
200 g butter, 165 g sugar, 4 eggs, 350 g flour, 1 packet vanilla
sugar, ½ packet baking powder, ca. 125 cc water (no milk),
1 tablespoon Arrak.

Extra fine Waffles from Grandma’s recipe book
Ingredients:
200 g butter, 250 g sugar, 4 eggs, 125 g flour, 125 g Mondamin,
rum, vanilla sugar, grated lemon peel or lemon essence.
Method:

Apple Waffles
Ingredients:
200 g butter or Margarine, 100 g sugar, 4 eggs, 250 g flour,
1 teaspoon baking powder, 100 g almonds or nuts sliced or
chopped, 125 cc milk or water, 1 - 2 mini bottles lemon essence,
2 - 4 finely cut apples.
Method:
Mix butter, sugar and the whole eggs (no beaten egg whites) until creamy and
add the other ingredients alternately. The mixture should be a thick liquid and
easy to process.
Cinnamon Waffles from Rheinland
Ingredients:
125 g butter, 125 g sugar, 2 eggs, 350 g flour, 1 - 2 teaspoon
cinnamon, 1 pinch of ground cloves, grated peel of one lemon,
some liquid cream or water if necessary.
Method:
Mix butter, sugar and eggs until creamy. Then add flour and the spices until small
dumplings can be formed. These waffles are especially nice for Christmas.
However it is extremely difficult to fill the mixture into the
Waffle Maker
evenly and
get the complete waffle form. We recommend adding just enough liquid cream or
water until the mixture is slightly liquid and can be spread more easily in the
Waffle Maker.
