Isolation Test
Prior
to editing any filters, the installer must first run an isolation test to verify there is
adequate isolation between the donor and service antennas. To initiate an isolation
test, click the
ISOLATION TEST
button at upper right (see
). A dialog will
open showing progress and, within a few seconds, a message that the test
succeeded and the maximum safe gain level. Do not exceed this gain level when
commissioning the BDA without first making adjustments to the donor or service
antenna system to increase the isolation. The most recent isolation test value
appears to the right of the
ISOLATION TEST
button.
