• Follow and PRACTICE the
recommended Lifesling rescue
techniques as written in this manual
• Before each trip, familiarize crew
on how to use the Lifesling2
• At least two crew persons
should be familiar with boat
handling, basic seamanship
and emergency procedures
• Stay close to the person in the water
• Do not lose sight of the person in
the water
