5.  Attach the Storage Latch (14) to the left Upright (11) with

the two Latch Screws (35). Be careful not to over-
tighten the Latch Screws.

6. Make sure that all parts are tightened before you use the treadmill. Keep the included allen wrench in a

secure place. The allen wrench is used to adjust the walking belt (see page 13). To protect the floor, place a
mat under the treadmill.

4. Place the Console Base (46) on the Right and Left

Handrails (1, 41). Make a loop with the indicated plastic
tie and insert the two Wires (21) through the loop. Pull out
just enough of the Wires to connect the Wires to the two
connectors in the Console Base. Important: Insert the
two Wires fully into the connectors.
Then, tighten the
loop and cut off the excess plastic tie. WARNING: Never
disconnect or connect the Wires while the treadmill
power cord is plugged in.

Refer to drawing 4b. Thread four Screws (99) into the
Left and Right Handrails (1, 41) and the Console Base
(46). After all four Screws have been started, tighten the
Screws until they are snug; do not overtighten the
Screws.

Refer to step 3. Tighten the four Handrail Bolts (105).

3.  Refer to the inset drawing. If there is a plastic tie holding

the Cage Nut (104) in the Right Handrail (1), remove the
plastic tie. Pull 4” to 5” of the Wire Harness (21) out of
the Right Upright (11). Feed the Wire Harness up
through the bracket on the Right Handrail and out of the
indicated hole. If necessary, use needle-nose pliers to grip
and pull the connectors on the Wire Harness.

Insert the bracket on the Right Handrail (1) into the upper
end of the right Upright (11). Hand tighten two Handrail
Bolts (105) with Washers (39) into the Upright as shown.

Attach the Left Handrail (41) to the left Upright (11) as
described above. Note: There is no wire in the left Upright.
