SETTING THE LIMIT SWITCHES
ATTENTION
Please note that an incorrect setting of the limit switches can lead to destruction
of the electric actuator! Larger setting angles than 90° are not possible! The limit
positions are mechanically limited! If it is nevertheless necessary to readjust the
limit switches of the actuator, please proceed as follows:
o
Switch off the power supply to the actuator.
o
Turn the actuator with the manual override to the "closed" position of your valve.
o
Open the upper cover with the position indicator by loosening the 4 screws.
o
Adjust the desired position by turning the cam D1 with the set screw "CLOSED" (red) clockwise until
it audibly actuates the limit switches K1 and K2 (Fig.1).
o
Now turn the actuator completely to the "OPEN" position using the manual override.
o
Adjust the "OPEN" position by turning the cam D2 with the "OPEN" set screw (green)
counterclockwise until it audibly actuates the limit switches K3 and K4 (Fig.1).
o
Make absolutely sure that the limit switches are actuated before the mechanical limitation (see
next chapter)!
o
Mount the cover of the position indicator and test the actuator.
