Calibrating the Compass
This Watch must be calibrated if any of the following occurs:
• The Watch is being used for the first time
• The battery is replaced
• The bearing direction digits are flashing
• The compass is used in a location that is apart from the place in which
the compass has been calibrated
• The user intends to maintain the precision of the digital compass.
The compass calibration includes two different processes: Rotation Calibration
Mode and Magnetic Declination Setting. It is recommended that both calibra-
tions be conducted from time to time to achieve a more accurate reading.
Important note:
If the compass has not been calibrated, the direction shown
by the compass maybe inaccurate. As this is a sophisticated timepiece, please
