10 Two-year guarantee
Dear Customer,
Thank you for deciding to purchase one of our products. For
decades the name Wella has stood for tested quality and
first-class service. We offer our customers innovative and ef-
ficient products.
Wella manufactures high-quality appliances and warrants the
use of high-grade materials and careful workmanship. We
give two years' guarantee from the date of purchase (invoice
date) in the event of defects in the quality of the product.
In addition to your contractual and statutory guarantee rights,
Wella offers you a manufacturer's guarantee on the following
terms:
This manufacturer's guarantee applies for two years from the
date of purchase. It applies to deficiencies (errors, defects)
due to faulty materials or workmanship.
Our manufacturer's guarantee excludes:
deficiencies caused by incorrect operation, normal wear and
tear, incorrect interference with the product by unauthorised
persons, or use of third-party products during assembly
which do not fit or do not function perfectly. Also excluded
are deficiencies which have little or no significant effect on
the value or serviceability of the appliance.
In the event of a deficiency covered by our manufacturer's
guarantee occurring within our guarantee period of two years
from the date of purchase, we will, at our option, either repair
the faulty product or provide a replacement.
It is a precondition of our manufacturer's guarantee that you
send or bring the product and proof of purchase (invoice) to
us within the guarantee period, in other words to the national
sales companies of Wella or the relevant national Customer
Service Centre. The current addresses of our customer service
centres can be found at www.wella.com in the device section.
Independently of our manufacturer's guarantee, you may of
course assert guarantee rights in relation to the vendor – e.g.
subsequent performance (remediation of defects, repair or
replacement), withdrawal from the contract or reduction in
purchase price – insofar as you possess such contractual or
statutory rights. Such rights are not affected by our manufac-
turer's guarantee.
