Hazards and Safety Measures When Removing the Unit from
Service
Safety hazard: electricity
When removing the unit from service, keep the following hazards in mind and take the actions re‐
quired in order to eliminate and/or minimize these hazards:

Lock out and tag out all
switches
■
Wait 15 minutes so that
the DC bus capacitors
can discharge fully
■
Make sure that the unit is
de-energized
