RECOMMENDATION
• Predrill all bolted connections to
prevent damage to the wood parts.
The following symbol draws your attention
to this throughout the instructions:
WOOD
• Wood is a natural product. Varied colouring, knurls and crack formation are normal and have no
influence on the structural engineering.
• Shrinkage shake may occur due to extreme weather, especially after longer
warm periods. These dry cracks are in no way a defect in quality but are a part of the natural
appearance of the wood. Depending on the weather, these cracks may close up again to a minimum.
Moreover, these dry cracks, which form longitudinally in the wood, have no effect on the strength and
resilience of the material.
WOOD PRESERVATION FOR UNTREATED PRODUCTS
• Untreated wood requires wood preservation measures.
For professional wood preservation treatment, contact a wood preservative expert.
Before assembly, we recommend that you treat all untreated wood components with blue stain
and then with a wood protection agent. Regular painting according to the
specifications of the manufacturer of the wood protection agent is necessary to protect the wood.
