– Safety Device
Utilize the Crane Eye Hook [A1] of the Slab Grab JUMBO II as a carrying handle, in
order to prevent the risk of personal injury.
Should the Slab Grab JUMBO II be lifted upwardly, then push it together and pay
attention that the safety device [B1] has been inserted.
The Knob [C1] of the safety device must be hereby shoved in in the direction of the
arrow.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II is now ready for application.

– Adjustment of the gripping
width
The gripping clamps are to be adjusted according to the individual measurements of
the stone blocks.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II can be adjusted to a gripping width of from 500 mm up to
1.000 mm. Pro adjustment slot hole (adjustable on both sides!) will alter the gripping
width by 100 mm.
Hereto the individual safety pin [A2] of the adjustment bolt [B2] is to be firstly
removed. Now the adjustment bolt [B2] is to be pulled out.
Now the Slab Grab JUMBO II can be lifted at the Grip and the clamp jaws can be
pushed together or pulled apart. Attention is to be given that the left as well as the
right clamp jaw are identically adjusted. That means that the bores both left and right
are to be used, and at the same distance from the carrying safety eye hook

When the desired adjustments have been concluded, then the adjustment bolts are once again to be inserted and the safety cotter
pin secured.
6.2 Transporting with the Slab Grab JUMBO II
The Stone Block to be lifted must be secured against tipping over thereby enabling the Slab Grab JUMBO II to transport the same.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II must be secured at the center of gravity of the stone block.
Make certain that the surfaces of the the contact area of the stone block to be transported with the Slab Grab JUMBO II are dry,
free of wax, oil, dust and sand.
Now lower the Slab Grab JUMBO II on to the Stone Block to be lifted at the center of gravity. Use the available crane eye hook as a
carrying grip.

–disengaged condition
The Slab Grab JUMBO II crane eye hook is to be used when being lifted by the
safety hook of the hoisting device.
Release the safety device of the Slab Grab JUMBO II by pulling on the Knob [A3].
The safety hook will thereby be disengaged.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II is thereby in the disengaged condition.
The next step is to lift slowly and cautiously the Slab Grab JUMBO II. The
clamping jaws close and lay on the predetermined stone block. Should this not be
the case, check if the safety device is disengaged.
Make certain that the utilized lifting device and the hoisting unit provide suitable carrying capacity to cover the total carrying load and
be capable to transport the same.
Now raise the Slab Grab JUMBO II with the hoisting device, until such time as the stone block is hanging freely. Be careful that the
Slab Grab JUMBO II does not go off balance (uneven) when being lifted. At the same time the Slab Grab JUMBO II must be
