Emergency Activation

8.2.1

Automatic Activation via Magnetic Switch

The easyRESCUE-PRO is primarily intended for use in an automatic life vest. Therefore, the
device is inserted into an especially designed pocket which is an integral part of the life vest.

For more detailed information please refer to chapter 6.1.2.

8.2.2

Automatic Activation through Water Contact

In addition to the automatic activation by rip cord, the easyRESCUE-PRO is equipped with a
water activation switch to trigger the distress alert. A constant water contact between one
of the back plate screws and the antenna axis triggers the device. See the picture below.
