1.
Under “Search” select “Probe”
2.
Choose the found device then click add and start then close this
window
(If no device is found please check the DC cable and the LAN
cable is connected properly, make sure to turn all firewall
programs off and close all other programs except Hellodevice
Manager V2)
3.
Select the found device in the device list.
(default password is root/root or admin/admin)
4.
Select the right IP address in the configuration menu
(if your internal server ip adress is 192.168.0.XX
select 192.168.0.

the 2 last numbers have to be free in your
network and are free to choose by your network administrator)
5.
Select 38400 as the baud rate in the configuration menu
6.
Go to Device and click on set button to save all changed
settings.
Please install and run Controll Pannel from the included CD.
(After the default Installation you can found the program under Start ->
Programs -> Sena ->Serial-IP)
7.
Under select ports please select one free com port, for example
20
8.
set the checkmark to “connect to server”
9.
set the equal IP adress as selected under 1.7.4 and set the port
number to 6001
10.
set the checkmark to Accept connections and set the port
number to 7001
11.
Set the Connection Protocol to Raw TCP Connection
