Powering the Lantern Radio
Standard Alkaline Batteries
Requires 3 AA Batteries (not included)
1. Remove the battery cover from the bottom
of the lantern radio.
2. Adjust the
Alk Batt/Rechargeable
Lithium Batt
switch to
Alk Batt
.
3. Install 3 AA Batteries (not included)
Rechargeable Lithium Battery
Requires a 3.6V Rechargeable Battery
(pre-installed)
1. Remove the battery cover from the bottom
of the lantern radio.
2. Adjust the
Alk Batt/Rechargeable
Lithium Batt
switch to
Rechargeable
Lithium Batt
.
3. The lantern radio will now run off of the
pre-installed 3.6V rechargeable battery.
The 3.6V rechargeable battery can be
charged by connecting the lantern radio to
an AC or DC power source.
Dynamo Hand Crank
Requires a 3.6V Rechargeable Battery
(pre-installed)
1. Extend the Dynamo Hand Crank out from
the back of the lantern radio.
2. Turn the Dynamo Hand Crank clockwise
or counter-clockwise to power the lantern
radio.
1. Power the lantern radio on by turning the
Volume
dial.
2. Adjust the
AM/WB/FM
dial to AM or FM.
3. Adjust the
Tuning
dial to the desired AM or
FM station.
1. Power the lantern radio on by turning the
Volume
dial.
2. Adjust the
AM/WB/FM
dial to WB.
3. Slowly adjust the
Tuning
dial counter-
clockwise until the dial stops. Then slowly
adjust the
Tuning
dial clockwise until the
dial stops.
4. While adjusting the
Tuning
dial, listen for
your local Weatherband station to come
into tune.
1. Connect the Adapter Cable to the
Dynamo
Output
.
2. Connect the Samsung or Nokia Adapter to
the other end of the Adapter Cable.
3. Connect the Samsung or Nokia Adapter to
your Samsung or Nokia mobile phone.
4. Turn the
Dynamo Hand Crank
clockwise
or counter-clockwise to power the
connected mobile phone.
