Target readership

This manual is intended for users (therapist - attendant), it must always be kept with the equipment and stored in  
a safe place for future reference.

2 Equipment Description

Intended use & operation

Electric hoist for easy transfer of disabled users into a swimming pool. Painted stainless steel.
Available versions: HERON with a sling bar and HERON with an integral removable seat.
The equipment can rotate 360° and is fixed to the floor by means of an external floor plate (N2465) or a recessed lift socket 
(N2463).
HERON with an integral removable seat requires item N5429 Heron Seat Transporter Base to be attached to the seat for indoor 
patient transfers (Fig.4).

Environmental conditions

The equipment can only be used in indoor swimming pools.

Storage

The following environmental conditions must be ensured when the equipment is to be stored:
• relative humidity: 10% - 90 %
• temperature: -10 °C - +50 °C
If the product is to be stored for a long period of time, it is necessary to:
• leave the emergency button depressed
• check operation of the hoist actuator and recharge batteries at least every six months.
