Switch on DUFTDOS-AK / start query
Switch on the device at the mains switch.
Start query/Switch on the device for the first time
When the unit is switched on for the very first time, or after it has been reset to the factory settings, a
start query occurs automatically. For this purpose, the requested parameters such as language, operation
mode, dosing time 1, pause time 1, dosing time 2, pause time 2, push button cycle must be entered.
The parameters are shown and queried in sequence. After successful entry, the device is ready for oper-
ation.
Switch the device on again
If the start query was carried out, the device starts in the operating menu the next time it is switched on
and is immediately ready for operation.
The display is illuminated. The display shows the preset times.

Operating contact:
The operating contact is used to switch the device to standby mode via an external signal. In standby
mode, only the parameters and test functions can be operated.
The operating contact function is active in all operation modes and is always displayed.

Dimming the display
If no input occurs for 60 seconds, the background illumination is dimmed (standby mode). The background
illumination is reactivated by pressing a key.

The operating menu
After switching the device on at the lateral mains switch, the operating menu is displayed.
The menu of the control unit is simply structured and easy to operate. Pressing any key switches to the
main menu. It consists of an operating level with the following menu items:
