Powering Off
ATTENTION
In order to power the instrument off correctly,
always use the
Shutdown
function. If the
power supply is interrupted (pulling out the
mains plug while the batteries are completely
discharged), the operation does not end cor-
rectly.
The settings of all function values and the default set-
tings (language and units) are retained after powering
off.
– Select the
(1).
– Tap on the
Shutdown
button (2).
The system is shut down and the instrument is switched
off.
Alternatively, you can press the Power key on the top of
the instrument (see page 56) for 3 seconds until the
shutdown process starts. A shutdown message is
shown.
