Firmware update (standard mode)
This procedure explains how to update the firmware of
. This procedure must be used by
AP420
default.

Remove all USB sticks and µSD that were inserted for the playback.

Insert a USB stick on the front panel with the firmware ap4xx-update.swu copied at the root of the
USB stick.

Go to
Main settings>System>System update>Update

The firmware is being uploaded.

At the end of the upload, the power button blinks green for success update or red for failed update.

The player restarts by itself.

Wait for 2 minutes, the web interface updates. If some artefact appear on the web interface, then
cleanup your cache using Ctrl+Shift+R

Your player
is now updated.
