3.6. Lifting And Transport (Aegis A Air To Water Units)
During unloading and positioning of the unit, great care must be given to prevent sudden or
violent maneuvers and not using machine components as lifting points.
Lift the unit using steel tubes inserted in the relative lifting holes. Use cords or belts that are long
enough and spacer bars so as not to damage the sides and lid of the unit.
Note:
Pipes must have passages, pivots, or other fasteners to prevent straps from releasing.
Alternatively, the units can be lifted using a fork-lift truck, inserting the forks in the supporting
pallet. The figure below illustrates typical lifting modes; take a look at the dimensional drawing
for a clear identification of the center of gravity.

Make sure that the unit is fastened well before lifting in order to prevent accidental falls or
overturning.
