CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT AND VALVE REMOVAL
The only replaceable item on the 3-Way Control Valve is the Electronics Module. The
procedures for removing this Module or replacing the complete Control Valve are provided in
Sections 8.2.2.1 and 8.2.2.2 below.
If the Electronic Actuator needs to be replaced, see Section 4.2.1.

Complete the instructions below to replace the 3-Way Control Valve.
3-WAY CONTROL VALVE REPLACEMENT Instructions
1. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 in the previous section to turn off the unit and disconnect the
Electronics Module
’s wiring.
2. Connect a hose to the Blow-Down Valve/Drain on the lower pipe Strainer.
3. Close both Isolation Ball Valves on the Boiler Water pipe side of the unit.
4. Open the Blow-Down/Drain Valve on the Strainer.
