3.9.4 X-Jogger Pivot Shaft Cleaning/Lubrication
The pivot shaft and bearing (see Figure 3:41) require periodic cleaning and lu-
brication.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the D-XJG power and data cables from the DigiVAC.
2. Place the D-XJG upside down on a suitable surface so as not to damage
the unit.
3. Remove the M6 hex head screw (see Figure 3:41), shake-proof washer and
flat washer from the pivot shaft.
4. Lift the receiving area assembly away from the base.
5. Clean and lubricate the pivot shaft and bearing with SA30/40 oil as re-
quired.
3.9.5 X-Jogger Power Adjustment
If the overall jogging power is too weak or too strong it can be adjusted by
changing the distance between the vibrator coil and armature (see Figure
3:42).
Two M6 nuts, accessed through the holes in the vibrator box housing (see Fig-
ure 3:42), are used to either increase or decrease the distance between the vi-
brator coil and armature. Turning the nuts clockwise increases the overall
jogging power by moving the coil and armature closer together.
