a data string, the OPC bit in the Event Summary Status
Register will be set upon completion of the operation(s) in the
input buffer. An SRQ may be generated with corresponding
bit enabled.
An *OPC 1 string will be loaded into the output buffer
(returned at the completion of the operation in the input
buffer).

returned response is a bit-mapped value of two 8 bit bytes.
