Securing the CM-30S to the system stack
The CM-30S mounts on the right side of the sample manager or CM-S.
Note:
For illustrative purposes, the sample manager is shown in the figures in
this procedure.
Required materials
• Collar
• Mounting bracket
• M4 × 16-mm stainless steel screw (Startup kit)
• M4 × 50-mm stainless steel pan head screw
• T20 TORX screwdriver
To secure the CM-30S to the system stack:
1. Power-off the sample manager or CM-S.
Warning:
To avoid the harmful effects of personal contact with solvents,
including inhalation, observe Good Laboratory Practice when you
handle them. See the Material Safety Data Sheets for the solvents you
use.
Warning:
Risk of tipping. To avoid injury, ensure the side-mount shaft
on the right-hand side of the sample manager or single-zone column
manager (CM-S) is engaged in the key-hole slot on the mounting bracket
on the left-hand side of the CM-30S. For information on securing the
CM-30S to the system stack, see page 24 .
Warning:
To avoid spinal and muscular injury, do not attempt to lift the
CM-30S without assistance.
Warning:
To avoid injury caused by fallen objects, do not place objects
such as solvent bottles atop of the CM-30S.
