ENVISION SERIES AIR HANDLER INTERNAL AUXILIARY HEATER INSTALLATION MANUAL
Replace the (6) screws to fasten the auxiliary heat
element rack assembly to the auxiliary heat housing.
Also, fasten the front end of the auxiliary heat element
rack assembly by inserting the extra screw (#7) from
the top of the blower assembly through the bottom of
the auxiliary heat element rack (Figure 5).
Wire auxiliary heat element assembly to air handler
control board by following the appropriate size auxiliary
electric heat schematic and wiring instructions
(Figure
6).
Note: For the 15kW and 20kW electric
heat
assemblies’
unit power must be wired directly to the breakers
according to the schematics.

6.
Once wiring has been completed
replace blower
assembly and auxiliary heat access panels.
Note: For
15kW and 20kW electric heat assemblies the cover plate
on the front of the auxiliary heat access panel will have
to be removed in order to accommodate the air handler
and auxiliary heat breakers (Figure 1).
Turn on power supply to the air handler unit.
Test run the unit in “Emergency Heat” mode to check
the operation of the auxiliary heater (with access panel
removed). Air discharge temperatures should increase
with each stage accordingly (second stage of emergency
