Enter the IP addresses and Netmasks for the secondary appliance.

Advanced
The Advanced HA Settings dialog box appears.

Click the checkbox of each port you want the backup appliance to
monitor.

Click the checkbox to select the HA interface you want to enable and
send HA heartbeats over and type the Primary IP address, Secondary
IP address, and Netmask of the HA interface you enabled.

Setting and Responding to Alarms
When a system has failed, an Event alarm is generated and the failover
process is logged in the event log. You can check the alarms and the event
log to determine when the failover occurred.
