6.5.11.2 Configuring the Network Settings for the Navigation Echo Sounder

Setting the MAC address of the Navigation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200
Precondition:

The "NETWORK" menu is unlocked

6.5.4.4.
Changes to the network settings are only active after a reboot of the device.
The MAC address of the device cannot be changed.
Proceed as follows to set the IP address:
1. Select menu item MAIN MENU > NET-
WORK > IP

.
2. Press the [ENTER] key.
3. Set the digits of the IP address in turn
using the [CURSOR] keys (up or down)
and confirm each with the [ENTER]
key.

After setting the last digit and
pressing the
[ENTER] key, the set
IP address is saved.
4. Reboot the device  6.5.3.

Only IP addresses in the range 172.16.0.1 to 172.31.255.254 with the network mask
255.255.0.0 are conform to IEC 61162-450.
If the IP address of the Navigation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200 is changed, the
source ID for the TAG blocks also changes (  9.2.3 "Calculation of the Source ID for
TAG Blocks").
