Preparing for first use
Unpack the Wartmann® nut oil press
Take the Wartmann® nut oil press out of its box and
remove all packaging materials. Do not remove the rating
label and serial number at the back. Position the Wart-
mann® nut oil press near an electric connection, on a sta-
ble horizontal surface, in a place where the Wartmann®
nut oil press can’t fall or be knocked over. Ensure sufficient
ventilation around the Wartmann® nut oil press.
Check the Wartmann® nut oil press
Remove the protective cover by pulling it carefully off. Then
turn the black nut loose, anti-clockwise, and remove it,
using the included wrench if necessary. Pull the shaft and
screw from the Wartmann® nut oil press and check both
parts for possible damage or remaining protective grease.
Clean if necessary.
Place the shaft and press screw back into the Wartmann®
nut oil press. Turn the black nut until the shaft and press
screw are firmly locked. Place the protective cover back.
Connect the power cable
The Wartmann™ nut oil press comes with a detachable
power cord. Plug the connector of the power cord in the
socket on the backside of the Wartmann® nut oil press.
Now plug the power plug in the wall socket. Always use
an earthed power socket.
