Air Distribution Valve Servicing

See repair parts drawing, remove screws.

Step 1:

 Remove air valve from pump (1).

Step 2: 

Remove retainer (1-E).

Step 3: 

Remove end caps (1-C).

Step 4: 

Remove spool part of (1-A) Inspect for wear or damage.

Step 5:

 Press sleeve part of (1-A) from body (1-B) Inspect for  

 

wear or damage.

Step 6:

 Inspect o-rings (1-D) and replace as needed.

Step 7: 

Lubricate o-rings (1-D) and press sleeve (1-A) in body (1-B).

Step 8: 

Press sleeve part of (1-A) into body (1-B). 

Step 9:

  Reassemble in reverse order.

Note: 

Sleeve and spool (1-A) set is match ground to a specified 

 

clearance. Individual sleeves and spools (1-A) cannot 

be interchanged.
