CHOCOLATE FROzEN YOGURT

Makes about ten ½-cup servings

ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped  

 

(may use semisweet chocolate morsels)

¼ 

cup granulated sugar

cup whole milk, warmed to a simmer

cups prepared yogurt

teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Stir the chocolate and sugar into the warmed milk.  
Stir until chocolate is completely melted and sugar is  
dissolved. Let come to room temperature. Add the  
yogurt and vanilla and stir with a whisk until completely 
combined. If not freezing immediately, cover and  
refrigerate.

Process in an ice cream maker according to  
manufacturer’s instructions. Allow yogurt to mix and 
freeze until desired consistency is reached. Frozen  
yogurt will firm if placed in an airtight container and 
placed in the freezer for about  hours.
