1.6 Potential problems and how to tackle them

Actions to be in chimney fire
Chimney fire may occur upon the improper cleaning of the chimney, the use of inap-
propriate fuels (e.g. excessively wet wood) or the inadequate setting of the burning air.
In such cases, close the burning air at the fire, and call the fire service.
Never try to extinguish the fire with water!
