Angle your drill to
pierce into the angled
portion of the post as
illustrated.
How to position the screws on the post side of the hinge:
Using a ⅛” drill bit, pre-drill the holes for the hinge screws
as illustrated. Angle your drill slightly as illustrated.
Note:
Swing the gate open and pre-drill four more holes for the
hinge screws as illustrated.
Fasten (3) 2” black self-drilling stainless steel
screws through the drilled holes.
Fasten (4) 2” black self-drilling stainless steel
screws through the drilled holes.
Repeat steps
9.2B through 9.2D for the second hinge.
