9 Testing
Description:
Testing the fitting by immersion testing according to the following table values.
Series

- Notes and Remarks:
The holding time per test is 10 sec.
Taking into account a leak rate of 10

mbar x l/s 3 gas bubbles with a
diameter of 4 mm may escape in these 10 sec.
After the testing the fitting must be dried in warm air as soon as possible.
(Recommendation: 45
– 55 °C, ca.30 min in air current, 2 h in static air, depending on
the device)
- Documentation:
Testing must be documented by recording the test pressure, test fluid and name/date.
