6. Controls
6.1 Backhoe Controls
Wallenstein backhoe controls are configured in the SAE control
pattern. All controls are mounted on top of the main frame within
easy reach of the operator, when sitting in the seat.
All operators should review this section of the manual to
become familiar with the location and function of all machine
controls before starting.
WARNING!
Do not operate the machine until you are
thoroughly familiar with the position and function
of the various controls. Read the operator’s
manual thoroughly. Your safety is involved!

Main Boom, Up–Down
•
Push the left-hand control lever forward to lower the boom.
•
Pull back on the lever to raise the boom.
•
Push the lever all the way forward to the detent to place the
boom in float.
