Remember several things when using the Rambler. It has been designed for use by adults, to carry children and/or baggage during
recreational rambles. The Rambler is not a toy, and should not be pulled by either vehicles or animals. If the wagon is used in this way,
dangerous situations may occur for which the supplier does not accept any liability. Adults should use the Rambler responsibly when
taking children from one place to another in it. The Rambler has been designed with an average walking speed in mind. So, adjust your
walking speed etc. to the skills of the children sitting in the Rambler. Be extra careful when walking on uneven surface. Children who sit
on the benches must be able to sit unaided (stable, and with their feet on the chassis beam). You should use the Rambler children's seat
for smaller children. Always use the safety harnesses, and only allow them to be taken off under adult supervision. The harnesses should
be used according to the manuals of the harness, children's seat or baby seat. Beware that there are no children near the Rambler during
folding or unfolding to avoid injuries. Beware not to allow more children in the Rambler than specified in the manual. Maximum load is
200 kg. Before using the Rambler, please check that:
1. the front-wheel rims have been correctly positioned on the drum brake.
2. all four wheels have been attached correctly and firmly (they can't be pulled out of the axle).
3. all four star-shaped knobs have been tightened firmly (you can't tip the bench over).
4. the two pullbar clamps have been firmly fastened (you can't pull the pullbar loose).
5. the wheels lock when using the handbrake and/or parking brake.
6. the safety harnesses and the children's seat have been attached properly.
7. you have read these instructions, and know which periodic maintenance is necessary.
Important:
Never leave the Rambler unattended without taking measures to prevent it from moving away accidentally.
The supplier excludes all liability for accidents resulting from the use of the Rambler in any other way than intended by it.
Walking Wagon l Anndur BV gives a guarantee for any material or construction faults in the
Rambler. The guarantee conditions consist of the repair or replacement of original parts at no
expense to the purchaser. The following conditions apply when making a claim under the guarantee:
1. You must have a sales receipt.
2. The guarantee is not transferable; only the first owner is entitled to claim under the guarantee.
3. The Rambler must be presented to the dealer for repair within the guarantee period.
Guarantee period
Calculated from the date on which Rambler was bought, Walking Wagon l Anndur BV provides 2 year's guarantee on the frame plus all
other parts, provided these are not subject to normal wear and tear. A claim may not be made under the guarantee:
1. If the Rambler has been assembled incorrectly.
2. If parts have been altered.
3. In the event of an accident.
4. If the Rambler has been used improperly or without due care.
5. If the Rambler has been hired out, used in play situations, competitive events or commercially (this does not apply to the normal use of
the Rambler by daycare nurseries).
The frame cover of the Rambler is made of polyester and can be washed in the
washing machine at a low temperature. Max. 40 °C (104 °F). Regular maintenance
extends the life span of the Rambler and reduces the chance of problems.
Please have all minor repairs and maintenance done by a good bicycle shop or
experienced bicycle repairer, and contact your dealer with any other problems, or for parts needing to be repaired. Or contact us at
www.walkingwagon.com.
The high-quality materials used to make the Rambler guarantee its long life span. When assembling the frame, no extra protection -
such as vaseline or Teflon spray - is applied to the parts. Extra maintenance is necessary when the Rambler comes into contact with
sand or salt. Premature damage to metal parts is prevented by cleaning the Rambler regularly, and treating all parts with acid-free
vaseline, or other protective substances. Salt should be rinsed off with clean water, and the parts coated with a protective layer in order
to prevent damage to the aluminium and stainless steel. Please remember that if the Rambler comes into contact with salt, this could
penetrate into the chassis beam. To prevent excessive corrosion, chassis beam parts must be checked for damage, and treated with
a protective layer.
