Power supply
Operation with batteries:
Insert 2 Sony NP-F compatible batteries into
the corresponding battery slots. 2 batteries
are required.
Operation with a power supply unit:
Plug the DC 13 ~ 16.8 V adapter provided
into the socket of the housing and connect
the plug of the power supply unit into the
socket.
Remote control
With the 433 MHz frequency technology
of this product, you can set groups by
remote control and operate various fun-
ctions of the device. Up to 6 groups and
16 channels can be set. Please set the
same groups and channels on both the
remote control and on the devices Panel.
NOTE
Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of the
device. Should the connection values not match, please contact
NOTE
Only connect the power supply unit to an earthed plug.
• After use, disconnect the device from the local power supply by simply pulling out the
mains plug.
• For use with batteries: Insert the charged batteries on the back of the video lamp until
they click into place in the battery compartment.
• Removing the batteries: Press the battery unlock button and pull the batteries out of
the compartment. Remove the batteries after using the device.
NOTE
Only use batteries intended for the device – see technical specifi cations. After
use remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
7. Operating the device
7.1 Switching the unit on/off - dimmer function
7.1.1 Settings on the device
Switch the device on via the on/off switch. After using the device, switch it off via the
on/off switch.
7.1.2 Setting brightness (dimmer function) on the device:
Turn the power adjust / set button to set the device to the desired level of brightness.
The power is shown on the LCD screen as a percentage
Power levels: From 10% (according to colour temperature) up to 100% (for daylight)
and 25% (according to colour temperature) up to 100% for bi-colour.
7.1.3 Setting colour temperature on the device:
Press the “SET” knob again and the colour temperature icon will start to blink. Turn
the “SET” knob to adjust the colour temperature on the Bi-Colour model in 100 Kelvin
steps between 3,300 and 5,600 Kelvin.
