6.2.1 Setting flash exposure compensation (FEC) - Only in E-TTL / i-TTL
mode -
You can adjust the flash exposure compensation from -3 to +3 in 1/3 steps in
E-TTL/i-TTL mode.
• Press function button 2. The number will be shown in the display with a dark
background.
• Turn the adjusting wheel to set the desired flash power.
• Press the Set button to save the settings.
• Press the Set button to save the settings.
• Press the Set button to save the settings.

Adjusting flash exposure bracketing (FEB) - Only in E-TTL mode and
only for Light Shooter 360 TTL/C -
You can take three photos in a row automatically. A correctly exposed, an
overexposed and an underexposed shot will be taken. You can set how far
apart the exposures are.
• Press function button 3. The display will show the FEB symbol.
• Turn the adjusting wheel to set the desired value.
• Press the Set button to save the settings.
5.5 Replacing the Off-Camera Adapter
The off camera adapter is useful when using the product as an off-camera
flash. There is a 1/4 Inch mounting hole at the bottom of the off-camera adap
-
ter. After replacing the adapter, the flash can be used mounting on almost any
light stand. To install the off camera adapter.
1. Use a screwdriver (not included) to remo

ve the four screws at the bottom of this
product. Then take out the bottom part
carefully as illustrated.
2. Install the off-camera adapter at the
bottom of this product.

6. Using the flash
6.1 Switching the flash on and off
The flash can be turned on and off with the ON/OFF switch.
NOTE
Switch off the Power Porta if the flash is not to be used over a longer
period of time.
6.2 Blitzmodus E-TTL (Canon)/ i-TTL Nikon
The walimex pro Light Shooter can be used in three different modes: 1.
E-TTL (Canon) / i-TTL (Nikon) 2. Manual (M) and 3. Multi (strobe).
To go to the E-TTL / i-TTL mode, press the MODE button twice. The display
will show: <ETTL> or <i-TTL>.
Press the trigger on your camera half way down to focus. The aperture num
-
ber will be shown on the display. Pressing the trigger right down will release a
pre-flash to measure the distance and the brightness of the object. Based on
this measurement, the flash will adjust the intensity of the flash.
