2.1.1.2 Description
750-424 is a digital input module with which can receive signals (i.e. window
contacts) from a fixed resistance ratio (R1, R2) in the form of a current.
The module has two input channels which makes it possible to directly
connect two circuits using a 2-conductor technique.
For example, two 2-conductor window contacts on 0 V and signal input DI 1
and signal input DI 2 can be directly wired.
The status of the input channels is indicated via status LEDs. In addition, a red
error-LED will show if there are any shorts or open circuits in either channel.
An optocoupler is used for electrical isolation between the bus and the field
side.
Any configuration of the input modules is possible when designing the
fieldbus node. Grouping of module types is not necessary.
