Main pump
1. The IceBreaker piston pumps pump the working product to the product output with up
and down strokes but only draw in new product on the up stroke. The feed pump
therefore has to pump twice the volumetric flow.
2. The maximum product pressure at the pump inlet of the IceBreaker pump may not be
exceeded.

Pressure relief valve
1. If the maximum pressure of the feed pump is lower than that of the main pump, the
maximum pressure could be exceeded if the main pump malfunctions. The feed pump
and connection line must therefore be protected from excessive overpressure. To do
so, an overpressure valve must be installed between the feed pump and main pump.
During installation, note that the flow direction is from the feed pump to the main
pump.
2. The pressure-relief valve must be cleaned regularly and after each activation: Flush with
solvent.
